Systanet has acquired the IPR of a software platform used in the recruitment industry as part of a wider-ranging deal to help three related businesses survive the global economic downturn. Under the deal, Systanet takes and retains the IPR to the software that forms the backbone of three recruitment sites. The software is licenced back to the businesses to allow continued trading but moving costs from CAPEX to OPEX.
Systanet will develop the IPR to offer a powerful Software-as-a-Service offering to the recruitment sector – allowing specialist recruitment agencies to have a powerful online presence with virtually zero capital expenditure.

Systanet has been awarded planning permission for new offices within the grounds of its existing location at Faulkland. These offices will provide a better environment for our team of developers and provide better facilities for client meetings.
We intend to have the works started in the New Year and have the new office opened in early April 2009.

Systanet today launched its dedicated web systems business, Systanet Websystems. This arm of the Systanet is wholly focussed on the provision of design, development, hosting, ecommerce and management of web-based systems for all sizes of business.
Whilst Systanet has previously completed many web based projects, including complex ecommerce and intranet systems using a wide range of technologies, this move recognises this area as an increasing proportion of Systanet’s trade.

The Hire Hub, a venture privately funded by Systanet, provides a unique platform for consumer to consumer and business to consumer rental across all vertical sectors. The project is part of a massive efficiency drive to reduce the cost of design and development of tracside signalling equipment. Systanet’s role is to investigate and report on the potential for deployment of recent advances in portable technology.
